G1 BBQ Night!

21st May 2009 (Thursday)

reason for late update : waiting for friends to update their blogs so that i can steal the photos there :x

ps : argh! all put in facebook T.T i got no acc leh ….

 

A week of hell has finally gone by. Semester 1 exam seriously is killer!!! Tuesday till thursday …. every night of the week study with PC in my appartment till cannot tahan already, didn’t even go out to dinner, just ate friuts and junk food just to cram as much information as possible into our brains…

 

BUT!!! AS OF THURSDAY WE’RE OFFICIALLY FREEEEE~~~~

 

ok so after the exam me, Xin Yu, Lynn, Sharlene, Vinci, Pei Wern and Danny went to Eric’s house to prepare the food for BBQ later that evening at MyPlace Apartment … beside the pool! :D

 

Lynn became our supervisor! She must cook often at home :p

 

Later that evening, I arrived beside the pool and saw the gang trying to start the BBQ.

 

 

 

Apparently, the charcoal is of very very VERY low quality. Use a whole box of fire starters also cannot get a decent fire going >_> It’s become the biggest problem for most of the night T.T Siva tried very hard to get the fire going though *applause*

 

 

and i’ve never seen charcoal in the shape of a tube before ….. it’s just weird.

 

 

All of a sudden, Eric grabbed me from behind and Danny grabbed my feet.

Yes, i was first to get chucked into the pool just as Lynn predicted =.=

 

 

And yes that blur thing in the middle is me …. screaming for my life as i was about to get thrown into the pool. I won’t be surprised if people heard me from the appartments >_>

 

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SWIM PEOPLE! @_@

 

But i’ve always learned how to hold my breath, so i just waited for somebody to pull me out. Good thing i brought a towel. "Because you have small eyes," not a good reason to throw people into the pool Eric ……

 

Anyway, we ate, ran (played police and thief), laughed (007 BANG, poor Choo Teong :x), swam [except for me, (who could only stay at the shallow end of the pool) Choo Teong and Khee Zhao (didn’t bring clothes)] and basically went crazy the whole evening up until midnight.

 

Eric drove me back to my appartment since i said whoever pushed me into the pool owes me a ride back home >=]

 

 

Some of you are leaving soon, but I cherish all these moments with you guys :D

Exam/Mom’s b’day

I called my mom’s cellphone before going into the hall this morning.

Wanted to say happy birthday but i guess she wasn’t awake yet XD

 

so i called her at lunch.

 

today’s exam : …… speechless … bo feeling liao. i am numb towards exams thx to SPM year -.-

 

Evening : called home to see if my family went out to celebrate mom’s b’day

 

 

 

who the hell picked up the phone?

……….

HOLY S***!!!! MY LITTLE BRO’S VOICE BROKE!

 

 

 

He grows up so fast T_______T imma gonna buy him a green coloured shirt when i go back :P

Lots of things happening…

Hmm lets see … 5 of our classmates have left/are leaving soon D:

Peng Han got matric AND jpa (proness), so he went matric until his letter for jpa arrives.

Agnes went back to her home for form 6.

Alwyn and Danny both got overseas jpa, but they’re staying until semester 1 is over.

Vinci got offer from jpa for local IPTS in biotech. (noooooo Vinci!!! T________T)

 

Friday during Salsa, Rizal told me he got jpa also! gratz for him!

he’s probably the nicest malay guy i’ve ever met so far. that means he’ll be going after exams too.

but i’m gonna dancing with him   ToT

 

super gratz!! i’m happy for u guys although i’ll miss you all like hell D:

 

Next Tuesday our Semester 1 exam will be starting.

ironically Tuesday is mom’s birthday ><

AAAAAAARGH!!! HAVEN’T FINISH STUDYING!

 

aside from that, after exams I CAN FINALLY GO HOME!!!!

i miss home so freakin much!!! gonna try to make plans to see all my old buddies.

but i think it’s probably in the afternoons since they’ll be in school hahaha!

 

ok ok REALLY GOTTA GO STUDY NOW!!! @_@

New Specs and Me :D

SOMEBODY SAT ON MY GLASSES TWICE!!!

 

The frame became so loose and funny i just couldn’t keep it straight for more than 2 weeks D:

I didn’t wanna get new glasses … i like my pair just fine but the frame just can’t be fixed T.T

 

So, when PC and Kim found out that i’ve never worn framed specs before, i became their model for glasses X3

We were going ice skating in Sunway Pyramid but they decided to take me specs hunting first.

 

First, we walked in to a super high tech but UBER EXPENSIVE (by the looks of it) mens glasses shop. cheapest pair? RM400+ @_@

So we went to good old Focus Point, reasonably priced Focus Point XD

 

Conclusion : I look good in purple/blue specs, fancy frames dun suit me, ditto for white/black frames.

 

Friends reaction :

PC and Kim : you look better in framed specs!

Vinci : nice glasses.

Raifana : you look nice~

Eric : eh! she looks hotter in this pair right? *pooi leng glares at eric with the what-the-hell-are-you-saying??-look* means u look nice la … before this you look like a nerd ….

 

i do not look like a nerd …… do i? @_@ *confused … sad …. emo*

 

so … i’m doing something i’ve never done before which is posting a picture of only myself up on my blog. Tell me what you guys think ok? Framed specs vs unframed D:
