Hey hey~ Was randomly clicking around in my mail box when I saw the option to move my space to wordpress so I thought I’d give it a try ;p It’s gonna take me some time to get used to all the functions though :/

Anyways, Chemistry class test 2 is next Friday ….. Feeling so screwed T.T

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION :D

2nd July is my birthday but since the 3rd of July was our last exam i decided to celebrate yesterday. so a total of 23 people was successfully stuffed into our apartment XD

before the party i went to watch Eclipse and i think the movie was ok. jackson rathbone was *spasms* so hot! ;p so glad he had a bigger part in the movie. after the movie i went home to find that RX and ZW was halfway through decorating. the living room looked awesome! we hung balloons in the middle of the hallway just to scare Alvin cause he’s scared of balloons ;p

it was a pot luck party so everybody brought food to share. i think the mua-chi, chocolate pannacotta, riceballs and mu-shu cakes were the nicest ^^

RX instructed us all to play this game where she put a piece of paper into the balloons and whoever pop-ed the balloons with the instructions needed to obey. Eileen got 2 WangWang biscuit, I had to spin in circles with my eyes closed until i stopped in front of a boy and had to hug him for 30 seconds (HK kena-ed and i managed to get it down to 3 seconds ;p), Arellynn had to go hug everybody and say "happy holiday", Henry got the one that says "get a kiss from the b’day girl". I did the flying kiss thing but they all said cannot! :( anyway i refused to do it so henry just acted like he kissed my cheek (when in fact he only bumped his cheek against mine) XP there were 2 more that was to sing and cam-whore, but they were nowhere to be spotted …… HOR! SOMEBODY CHEATED! T.T but anyway it was a very interesting game xD

after that William’s singing cadle came to play it’s part again ;p the cake was sooooo tasty~ thx RX for choosing it ^^

I got 4 presents as well! photos will be uploaded much later ;p

Kenzo taught us a very funny game haha. "dididididididi BOOM!" XDDD

i’ve never celebrated my birthday with so many people before so it really was a memorable experience for me.

First Semester Final Exam

FINALLY GOT TO WATCH IT YESTERDAY!!! Henry has this awesome discount where by he’ll only need to pay 2 dollars for a movie! unbelievable right? ;p but he can only buy at most 2 tickets each week. which is probably a good thing cuz ZW they all want to watch Iron Man 2, they asked me to ask Henry to book 6 tickets =.= felt so pai seh …..

 

anyway since his car is in repairs we took the bus to Marion Shopping Mall.

RX and her dad went to Handorf to visit the strawberry farm :)

 

What else can I say? the movie was AWESOME~~~~~~~

the popcorn sucked though -.- so damn salty ….

Interesting day today ….

Chan was having a pot luck party at his house today at noon so that the members of Soul Capoeira could get to know each other better. I made some pasta and Henry came to pick me up to Lewis Ave.

 

It looked so secluded there! and the roads were so narrow and steep. Plus there had been rain and debris of leaves were on the ground.

Because of this, Henry’s car lost control and he hit a small tree @.@ After some swearing, he asked me to get down from the car while he tried to drive his car out from the tree. BUT! the road was too slippery, and his car just went sliding down the slope ><

 

Yea … good thing we weren’t hurt. and he has insurance. anyway he drank 7 bottles of beer after that ;p

 

The pot luck was really great. we just ate and watched Ninja Assassin. at first the scenes were really grose, but then there was rediculous amounts of blood spewing out so it just became really fake and funny :x

 

Then we all went into Chan’s bedroom and jammed there. everybody grabbed an instrument. it was really really fun ^^

 

so yea, Henry and I got a ride from Alex (from Italy! :o) back to the city after the pot luck. Finally going to watch Avatar tomorrow!!! yay~~~~~~ <3

 

 

Melbourne trip

What we did:

• went to the casino, lost 5 dollars each :x
• watched some weird fire show
• shopped in Harbour Town. The one in Adelaide is much cheaper though x.x
• went to Coconut House to eat pork noodles!!! <3 17 of us alltogether :P
• met up with Andrea and JiaNee!!!! missed them so much!
• visited the ACMI, SUPER FUN!!!!!!!!!
• went up to the Eureka Tower
• visited the Melbourne Museum
• went to the St Kilda beach
• ate pancakes! <3
• went to Lindt and Max Brenner to try their chocolate ;p
• ate durian falvoured ice cream!!!! super nice :D
• bought a shirt at the Queen Victoria Market, it was just like pasar malam XD except it was daytime ;p
• went on a cruise on the Yarra River
• met up with Brian and Elsie from G3 last year and ate pizza
• got scared by some weird birthday celebrating person in a ghost mask =.=
• visited the Melbourne Gaol prison!!!! we got to be prisoners for a day :P
• walked through China Town
• met Huatkun’s auntie and had a nice dinner :)
• got some free Opals :x

Quick Update

Broke 2 of my GuZheng strings T.T yeps …. damn sad… and it’s super hard to have them replaced here. Haizzz…….

Good news is I found a teacher in ChinaTown. She’s Singaporean and teaches the nylon stringed guzhengs so she can’t help me much :/ Playing nylon stringed guzhengs with the nails stuck on is so weird XD but quite fun too :)

Holiday has started for a week now. 1 more week to go and need to go back to uni. Been going out a lot for the past week XD

Watched Nanny McPhee, went to Harbour town, IKEA, OfficeWorks, library …. lol :x Brought some supplies for myself..

 

Later I’m going to go to Central Market with John and Mark to do some grocery shopping. They’re cooking dinner at my appartment XD

I won’t be buying much though, since I’m flying to Melbourne tomorrow for a holiday trip with RX, ZW and HK. When we come back from Melbourne, the first thing we have to do is stock up on our fridge! Almost no more food already lololol :x

 

I want to find a part time job!!! D: But I have no idea how to write a resume =.= Google it? All that came out was PROFESSIONAL resumes …. T.T

 

Ahh well …. until my next update :D

Name Issue

Caucasians REALLY need a lesson on Asian names, and i mean BADLY!>:(

 

When i first came into UniSA, the name displayed on my course homepage was "Pooi Wong" meaning they thought "Leng" was my middle name so it didnt appear in the screen although it was in the database. so i had to go to campus central and change my name while explaining that we usually dont have middle names. (actually i cant think of any chinese who has a middle name -.-)

 

Then yesterday for the health and society tutorial, the tutor wrote my name as Pooi =.= damnit, my name suddenly become so ugly….

 

DADDY!!!!! I WANT AN ENGLISH NAME! ToT
