New Chapter Unfolding …

yep yep… i’m in Adelaide Australia now :D starting my Bachelor of Pharmacy course in the University of South Australia.

 

kinda loving Adelaide, most ppl here are really nice and it reminds me of cameron in a way xD

 

but but! in australia things here are super expensive :( all the same numbers except it’s in Aussie Dollars instead of Riggit Malaysia T.T

have to think carefully before buying things.

 

and! the internet here has a limit. unlike m’sia which you pay RM66 for unlimited internet per month. here it’s like $50 for 120MBs. so online games are out of the question, even our uni computer accounts have an internet quota wth >.< farewell online games :(

conclusion : go to the nearest fast food restaurant and leech off their wi-fi :X

 

public transport here is amazing. there’s a FREE bus in the city which goes in a loop and basically you can just hop on it and not have to pay xD the tram (think monorail in m’sia) is also free in the city.

 

met lots of new people, some students from Taylor’s and about 30% of the students are international students xD

 

yesterday was 1st day of class. only 1 lecture which was 1 hour. lololol~~~

 

 

ahh well ……. until my next update :D

Farewell Party :)

Time passes so fast!!!!! I’m gonna go to KL tomorrow with my dad and take my flight to Australia on the 13th.

 

CY said they had to "fare" me no matter what so we went to JinJin to eat steamboat with the rest of the gang. They ordered for 5 people but the food they gave was enough for 10 lol!

If i ever lose it or slack in Aus, i’ve decided that i will look at this picture and remember just how lucky i am.

Even though one’s a complete loose cannon and the other is too cute for his own good xD

Cut my hair yesterday :x

Yeap, chopped it off after my mom’s constant nagging. Prices doubled due to chinese new year drawing near, so instead of RM18 i had to pay RM36 >_>

 

I discovered these products that looked a lot like audi characters while i was my cousin’s salloon x.x

 

 

anyway yeah my hair’s really short now :p

Strawberry Planting :D

Today, dad wanted me and bro to help him with the new strawberry plants.

strawberries reproduce via ‘runners’ which look like this

 

usually i would insert the runners to a nearby empty space like this…

 

But since that’s not always the case, dad would cut up the runners like so…

 

insert them into a bucket full of water so that they won’t die easily and get the water they need…

 

my brother then uses a small object to dig a hole in the soil…

 

i insert the runner and cover the roots up…

 

add a little more water…

 

and poof! we did 3 rows of strawberry planting :D

New phone… sort of :p

I’m really not the kind of person to chage phones ocne every month or so, this is actually my 3rd phone in ….6 years?

If you’re wondering what happened to my old phone one night, being the blur sotong that i am, forgot to remove my phone from my pants and let it soak in a bucket of water for an entire night.

People gave me advices that i’ve never heard of to dry my phone. Putting it in rice, putting it in blanket whil you sleep etc. @_@ But after 2 days of not opening it, it was still dead. So i sent it to the shop, it’s still there, awaiting a price for repairs.

Then my dad went to Hong Kong and bought a new phone, for what reason i have no idea. He is terrible with high tech phones, plus they always fall into the water tank of the farm whenever he’s mixing fertilisers -.- therefore he uses those phone which you can use to chuck at stray dogs :p

Thursday : spent a good 5 hours at Tun Huang. dang i missed playing the gu zheng xD and guess what? one of the strings snapped when Miss Amy was tuning it LOL!

 

 

Friday : watched Jennifer’s Body (with Qing, En, PC and Teng Yi) and 2012 (with kim and her frens). it’s been awhile since i’ve watched a scary movie, eep! x.x but 2012 was really good! brought some books from Popular, then went Shabu-shabu for the first time. got home at … 1am was it? ~.~ sleepy

 

Saturday (today :p) : woke up damn early cuz Jen was coming at 8am. we went to KLCC to looks for slack pants for her and shop for books at Kinokuniya xD finally found all 5 books that i wanted.

then we went Times Squre (first time also i think x.x)! originally Jen was gonna watch 2012 with her friends but the tickets were sold out. so we went around hunting for slacks again. then we went to these shops which sold a lot of nice and cheap stuff. i decided to try on a few things. one of them was this really pretty purple dress ToT

 

 

 

it’s been so long since i’ve last worn a Cheongsam also, so i tried on these 2 :x

 

lololol! k enough cam-whoring :x lengs damn tired, but it was really fun.

also have plans for tomorrow, can’t wait to see the look on his face xD

Jam Packed schedual

i should be cramming with all my mind for exams but what with the 6th anual Malaysian Capoeira festival, there are just a lot of things i need to juggle besides exams. eg: workshops (went to 2), noice (1st time went to a club :p) and not forgetting the Batizado!

 

Wanted to go to the samba workshop too but had math exam the next day T.T

 

the noice was fun, though the smell of smoke was something i wouldn’t miss. my hair still smelt like smoke after i washed it that night. i woke up the next morning and washed it another 4 times and finally got most of the smell out. but my jeans were still smelling foul @.@

the maculele and samba performances were great. though the club was small and not everybody got to see what was going on. during the roda all the seniors and guests from overseas performed solos. kesian Terry… kena kicked by Cabey till can’t even open a can of coffee without feeling pain x.x

 

thankfully that’s all done now and yesterday’s Batizado was A BLAST! little kids doing capo is super cute! <3

The End of SAM

Time flies so fast …. Seems like yesterday when i was just on my way to Taylor’s from Cameron …

I was really nervous about coming to college cuz i’ve never been outside the comfort of my family and home in my life.

But college life has definitely been a blast! Meeting new people, learning and experiencing new things…

Who knows when we’ll be able to meet again :(

 

The beginning of the year is a blur to me now, but won’t forget the good times we had :)

I dunno how many times i’ve said this but : G1 ROX!

 

Now that the end of the year has come i guess it’s confession/fess-up time! xD

I am gonna be 101% honest in this post so i’m sorry if unknowingly hurt anybody’s feelings :]
